Singapore Family: The Tay Family

I’ll love you through

The Tay Family 17.jpg

In my course of photographing families, I always count my blessings when it comes to clients. Somehow, I feel like I’ve been so blessed with amazing clients! This particular park in Singapore is not one easily accessible by public transport. Coupled with difficulty in getting there, I was almost 30mins late for my session! I was texting this client of mine multiple times, apologising profusely, as I watched my arrival time on google maps, growing later and later… Not only did she assure me it was ok, when I finally met them to start our session, they were complete sweethearts!

Singapore: Best Friends Forever

One million memories, ten thousand inside jokes,
one hundred shared secrets, one reason: best friends.

Family Portrait 65.jpg

With mummies who have been best friends since primary school, it's only apt these two little girls are best friends too! It was so cute watching them converse with each other, they were just so in sync, and seemed to enjoy each other's company the most! To my amusement, they were happiest and laughing most naturally when posing for photos with each other.

I hope one day, my best friend and I, we will get pregnant and have kids at the same time, so that they can grow and laugh together, just like these two. #ohmyheart

Singapore: The Koon Family

"You're one in a melon!"

Family Portrait 59.jpg

Just like her Big Sister C, Baby E celebrated her first birthday, with a refreshing watermelon smash. It was definitely a welcome respite from the Singaporean heat. ...and ... them pearls and tutu (Big Sister C's exact outfit a few years ago) - so completely adorbs!

I absolutely loved being a part of making heart memories.

Singapore: The Ong Family

because I have a sister,
I'll always have a friend.

Nay and Maddy are the sweetest pair of sisters I've photographed. Within the first 5 minutes of my session, I know that if I wanted little sister to do something, I just need to tell Nay what to do, and Maddy will immediately follow her. She's like her little shadow, her mini me.

Singapore: Fantastic Friends

the greatest healing therapy is
friendship and love.

I was quite excited to photograph back-to-back sessions for 2 families who are also good friends. Photographing one family with 2 little ones is already boisterous enough, adding two more into the mix, made for an evening of loud laughter and crazy fun playing tag. I didn't have to give much direction, but I definitely got a workout, running after them.

Singapore: The Chin Family

'Aunty where you? Aunty go hide... boy boy count.
Aunty, Uncle, where you? Tunnel.... Aunty read book...aunty...'
- Master Chin, 2 years old

It's always amazing to catch up with friends, and photograph their growing little one. We spent a day out at Universal Studios Singapore, hung out at home with play doh, paints and puzzles, had lots of good conversation over yummy food. Thank you so much for your friendship, Ben and Serena. You are such a blessing to us.

Singapore: The Mak Family

Oh brother... life is so much more fun when I'm with you!

Giggles, laughter, and shy smiles... even though our session began at 7.30am, the good-looking Mak family rocked up ready to go. Super high energy at such an early hour too!

Singapore: Calvina Dawn, EB, + ED

Let it go... let it go....
The 'heat' never bothered me anyway
- adapted from 'Frozen'

KOI-loving, and dedicated, honest mummy blogger (calvinadawn.com) whose life revolves around her two adorable little ones - EB and ED, and her gorgeous doggie - Calvina Dawn is easily one of the nicest persons I've photographed... and her two young ones, were just completely photogenic and personable too! I really enjoyed Frozen-loving EB, breaking out into passionate song and dance, while singing 'Let it Go!'. There were also many laugh-out-loud moments, especially with inquisitive doggie-loving ED. #ohwhatfun! I need another session with you guys! The hour just flew by too quickly!

p/s: at her request, I've selected photos which does not feature daddy heavily.

Let LOVE take FLIGHT

What an absolutely lovely way to begin my first big stint, photographing families in Singapore! With a skilled mummy, these gorgeous little girls were mom+dad's mini me's in matching Air Force uniforms. Completely affectionate and so ready to pose and smile for the camera, big and little C, made me feel as if, I was part of their fun.
