Up, down, and touch the ground,
In the mood for fun!
A day spent with dreaming and sunsets and refreshing breezes cannot be bettered.

Children comes in all different sizes, likes, dislikes, and temperaments. When photographing them, I really enjoy getting to know these individual personalities, and try to make them feel as comfortable as possible. Little Kate was a serious little tyke with the cutest smiles - when it happens! She definitely kept us all entertained with her antics!
of pastel pink, beautiful smiles, and love for balloons.
oh... LOVE... Let me tell you about this precious little girl.
I always knew that kids find me entertaining. After almost every shoot, we usually become the best of friends. Oh... the many houses I've been invited to by a 2 or 3 year old. 😍
With this one, we were not even halfway through the session, and she would run up to me, giving me hugs, so generously. I must say, I fell in love.
"silly pictures, crazy time, sisters at heart, and partners in crime."
I had the opportunity to photograph Belinda Chee and her multi-talented, gorgeous family. What struck me most was how despite the distance (KL, Kuching, Singapore), the family bond is so strong. The cousins also genuinely enjoy each other’s company.
my favourite humans
are the ones who let me be
as crazy as I am.
Being invited into homes to photograph, being offered a glimpse into each child’s unique personalities, I count it a blessing, to be able to do what I do. A lot of people ask if I ever get tired… honestly, how can I, when I get to hang out, get to know, laugh and joke with so many new people.
Love is about growing together,
learning about each other,
and not giving up.
The Kengs annual family portrait this time, saw the cheerful little now-3-year-old miss exploring, and having a little bit of fun in the park. She was joined by her baby brother, who was really smiley, with easy chuckles. I love watching families grow, and spending time with them, picking up where we left off, and getting to know the growing little ones.
let me love you a little more
before you're not so little anymore.
It felt just like months ago when Tim and Suwen shared the happy news that they were pregnant. And felt like yesterday, when I photographed their maternity portraits... where did time fly? Little Ian has turned the grand age of ONE! It has been such a joy watching him grow...
Cake is ALWAYS a GOOD IDEA
I've received so many requests from parents about photographing their baby's first cake smash. Each time, I'll stress this - for a successful session, baby must be used to sensory play - where he/she is unafraid of mushing hands into things soft and doughy. I say this, cause almost 8 out of 10 babies will begin crying halfway through our cake smash session. I highly recommend that you give them a cupcake to smash and eat with their hands, before our session. Baby K was a trooper, as she explored and enjoyed her cake!
Splish splash
we're having a blast!
So many things to love about this beautiful family. They were just ready for a day of fun in the park and pool!
"Aren't you somethin' to admire?
Cause your shine is somethin' like a mirror
And I can't help but notice you reflect in this heart of mine"
Esther was my little sister's primary/secondary school classmate. She has a giant heart for people, and a beautiful singing voice. (She was also my wedding singer!) Meeting Glenn, I can't help but notice that he complements her. Where she's easygoing, he is meticulous. Where she's a bit loud, he is a slightly more serious. He is their chief wedding planner. I enjoyed the morning hanging out with them, catching up, reminiscing, and getting to know Glenn... anybody who shares my annoyance at the usage of 'revert' is AWESOME in my books. Cannot wait to celebrate with you both in October.
